Clinical Application
Designed to assist surgeons in exposing, isolating and protecting delicate neural and vascular structures, this hook is used for atraumatic retraction, blunt dissection and controlled mobilization of small nerves and vessels. Common intraoperative applications include peripheral nerve procedures, microdissection in neuro and ENT surgery, vessel loop placement, and fine tissue plane development where precise tactile control is required.
Design & Configuration
The slim shaft and distinct hooked tip allow the instrument to be advanced under a structure and lift or lateralize it with minimal tissue compression. The 19 cm length provides reach into deeper operative fields while maintaining manual control at the handle. A single-ended hook delivers direct single-handed manipulation for fine dissection and isolation without bulk in the exposure.
