Clinical Application
Designed for controlled elevation of periosteum and soft tissues from bone surfaces, this raspatory is used to create and extend subperiosteal planes during exposure of bone in orthopedic, craniofacial, maxillofacial, ENT and dental procedures. The 29 cm overall length provides extended reach for deeper surgical fields and larger exposures while preserving tactile feedback for precise tissue dissection.
Design & Configuration
The raspatory geometry features a thin, contoured blade edge that allows the surgeon to separate periosteum and fibrous attachments with tactile control. A longer shaft delivers additional reach and working length for access into deep cavities or around anatomic contours, while the hand-held design permits fine manual manipulation and leverage during elevation and blunt dissection.
