Clinical Application
This curved Lambotte bone osteotome is intended for controlled bone cutting, osteotomy, bone graft preparation and contouring during orthopedic, trauma and reconstructive procedures. The chisel-style cutting edge is designed to be used with hand pressure or light mallet strikes to separate, score or remove cortical and cancellous bone where precision and a broad cutting face are required.
Design & Configuration
The curved geometry provides improved access around periarticular surfaces and along convex or concave bone contours compared with a straight osteotome. A 38 mm blade width delivers a broad cutting face useful for shaping and removing larger bone segments, while the 23 cm overall length offers reach and leverage in deeper wounds or when working around ribs, long bones and pelvis. The chisel blade profile facilitates controlled entry and progressive advancement with tactile feedback to the surgeon.
