Clinical Application
This guide provides a rigid alignment reference for hand-held surgical drills to establish and maintain the desired entry point and drilling trajectory in bone. It is used when manually controlled drilling requires improved accuracy and reduced skiving, for example in small-bone fixation, craniofacial, ENT, dental and certain orthopedic or neurosurgical applications where precise localization of the drill axis is critical. The device is a guide component only and must be used with a compatible hand drill and appropriately sized drill bits.
Design & Configuration
The guide-only configuration is a passive alignment device designed to register against bone or anatomic landmarks and present a controlled bore or collar for the drill bit or drill chuck to follow. A low-profile, rigid geometry minimizes obstruction of the surgical field while providing stable guidance to reduce off-axis deviation. The absence of integrated drilling components keeps the instrument simple, light, and easy to position and secure during case setup. Confirm seating and fit against the intended anatomy before initiating drilling.
