Clinical Application
Designed to provide stable, hands-free exposure of the anterior cervical spine during procedures such as anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF), corpectomy, and other anterior cervical approaches. The system maintains consistent soft-tissue retraction to optimize visualization of the disc space and vertebral bodies while minimizing the need for an assistant to hold retractors. Proper use reduces retractor movement during dissection, implant placement, and grafting.
Design & Configuration
The self-retaining frame accepts interchangeable blades to adapt to patient anatomy and surgical level. A locking mechanism on the frame holds the blades at the desired spread to provide steady, hands-free retraction. Multiple blade options allow the surgeon to select shallow or deeper retraction profiles and adjust blade orientation to protect surrounding soft tissue and neurovascular structures while maintaining an unobstructed operative corridor.
