Clinical Application
This single-hook retractor is designed to provide focused elevation and stabilization of tissue during surgical procedures where a narrow point of contact is preferred over broad retraction. It is well suited to holding wound edges, dissected fascia, small vessels, or skin flaps during suturing, exposure and delicate tissue handling. The concentrated hook tip allows the surgeon or assistant to secure and manipulate tissue with minimal obstruction of the field.
Design & Configuration
The single-hook configuration offers a low-profile footprint that reduces crowding at the operative site compared with multi-pronged retractors. The Fig.3 pattern denotes a defined hook geometry that gives secure engagement on tissue without requiring excessive traction. At 16 cm overall length, the instrument provides extended reach for use in deeper or semi-deep cavities while remaining manageable in hand and on instrument tables.
Instrument Specifications
