Clinical Application
Designed for atraumatic grasping and controlled blunt dissection, this long-shaft forceps is used where depth and angled access are required. The 27 cm reach and Fig.6 curvature allow the surgeon to mobilize or elevate delicate soft tissue, isolate vessels, retrieve small foreign bodies, or pass sutures in confined or deep operative fields commonly encountered in general surgery, vascular, thoracic, and ENT procedures.
Design & Configuration
The ring-handled design provides tactile feedback and precise manual control for fine maneuvers. The Fig.6 curvature places the jaws at an offset angle relative to the shaft, improving line-of-sight and reach around anatomic obstacles without excessive tissue retraction. The long, slim profile preserves working space in deep cavities and facilitates single-handed manipulation when combined with other instruments.
