Design & Configuration

The instrument employs a two-piece configuration: a perforated outer sleeve (guard) surrounding an inner removable trochar/obturator. The outer sleeve’s multiple lateral ports allow broad-area suction while the guarded distal profile minimizes accidental contact or aspiration of delicate tissue. The inner trocar can be removed or inserted to clear blockages quickly or to provide direct suction during targeted aspiration. The proximal end is compatible with standard suction tubing used in operating rooms.
